The hotel is a mixed bag with some positives like the convenient location near public transportation and a market but let down by the presence of disruptive guests causing noise issues. The affordable pricing doesn't fully make up for the disturbances.

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The location was a bit sketchy, and there were some noise issues, but the hotel gave me a real insight into the 'American Dream' and was handy to an upmarket supermarket. However, there were concerns about feeling safe due to the presence of drugs and hookers in the area.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was decent, with accessibility to different parts of San Francisco. However, the room felt small and dark, resembling a dungeon. The service was a mix of helpfulness and indifference. The dining experience was overshadowed by unwelcome guests. Overall, an average experience with some drawbacks.

My stay at the hotel was a bit mixed. The rooms were very small and somewhat uncomfortable, which made it crowded and inconvenient especially when I had to move rooms after booking a 2-day stay. On the bright side, the service was generally pleasant and helpful, although there was a hiccup with a not-so-friendly staff member who disappeared. The location was challenging to get to by car due to a misleading address, but it turned out to be a relatively safe option despite the sketchy surroundings. The dining experience was uninspiring, with a limited and basic breakfast selection. Overall, it was one of the cheapest options available, but there were some significant drawbacks to consider.

The hotel's location is fine, but the surroundings felt unsafe in the evenings. The rooms need a good clean and paint, and I encountered some homeless people, drug addicts, and mentally ill individuals around while heading to my room. The service staff seemed overworked and there were often long queues at reception, leading to slow check-ins. The breakfast was basic and served on single-use plates. The warm water supply was unreliable. The price felt expensive for the overall experience.

The hotel room experience had a few downsides, like having to share towels, encountering cockroaches which required switching rooms, feeling a bit cramped for four people with only two full beds, and being bothered by smoking smells permeating the linens. However, the price may be a bit high for what you get.

Rooms

Despite the initial issues with sharing towels and encountering cockroaches, after changing rooms, the cleanliness and comfort improved. The space might feel a bit tight for four people sharing two full beds. The smoking smell was off-putting but was resolved after switching rooms.

The hotel had rooms that were basically empty upon arrival with their room key, clean but small without much room to move around comfortably, and with broken-down furniture. The service staff were helping someone upon arrival, but were later seen complaining about a customer's car window being smashed in the parking lot; they were rude and unhelpful overall, although they checked me in swiftly without any unnecessary check-in processes related to payment. The location was convenient, being 6 minutes away from my work site, with big, open parking space and walking distance to various San Francisco activities, yet the surroundings felt unsafe after evening hours. Regarding the dining experience, it was good relative to similar hotels, offering the best fresh-made waffles but occasionally disturbed by non-guests taking advantage of the continental breakfast. The hotel's facilities were average, with Italian grilled meat as a standout option.

I snagged the deal of the year staying here for only $75 a night! The rooms may look outdated and worn out, but hey, they come with a fridge and microwave. Oh, and that priceless view of the Golden Gate Bridge from my window made it all worth it. Sure, the TV belonged in a museum and the noisy fridge tried to keep me up all night, but for this price, I can't complain too much.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms are old and a bit rough around the edges, but they come with useful amenities like a fridge and microwave. The view of the Golden Gate Bridge is simply fantastic.
Service

The hotel is a real steal at $75 per night, even though the rooms could use some serious upgrades like a new TV and properly locking windows. The mini-bar and fridge were quite disappointing, but considering it was a disabled room, it was acceptable. The service was a mixed bag with friendly but not very attentive staff and an unfortunate encounter with cockroaches. The location had its ups and downs, being central with convenient stores but in a dodgy part of town. The dining experience was saved by a lovely lady in the breakfast area, although there were some odd characters around. Facilities could use some improvement too.

The hotel's location near main highways allows for easy exploration of central San Francisco at a reasonable cost. While the staff is friendly and efficient, the surrounding area may not be the safest for solo travelers unfamiliar with the city. Despite some noise disturbances and strange encounters, the hotel provides basic amenities at an affordable price point.

Rooms

This hotel was a huge disappointment. The room smelled like a smoker's room even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. The sheets were discolored, there were roaches, and the furniture was dirty and worn. The floors were broken, the doors looked like they had been kicked in and poorly fixed, and the outside was very dirty. To top it off, they overcharged me and the whole experience was a nightmare. I will never stay at this place again.
